6 stage filtration system with RBD Plasma
AP-1503CH has strong 6 stages of filtering system which includes pre-filter, medium filter, HEPA filter, RBD Plasma filter + Catalyst filter and Activated carbon deodorization filter.
Especially RBD (Resistive Barrier Discharge) plasma + Catalyst filtration system is available only at Coway. Unlike other plasma system, this filtration system enhances the power of oxidation and sterilization and the ability of decomposition for volatile organic compounds (VOC), formaldehyde, germs and virus. It also overcomes a difficulty of applying in an air purifier system due to its high price tag and voltage requirement despite the outstanding pollutant removal properties.

Real-time air quality monitoring
High tech dust sensor & odor sensor detect and control air quality in real-time. The function provides added value of saving energy to Coway customers and improve lifetime of the unit.

    The function is available when it is on Auto mode. The light sensor detects luminous intensity and automatically operates sleep mode to save energy.

    Positive ion is easily generated around urban environment by ultraviolet rays, static electricity, electromagnetic waves and air pollution as well as feeling more depress and getting stressed. Custer anion generated by Coway AP-1503CH makes the balance of ion in the environment, and a user feels fresher.

  • Rhythm cleaning mode
    The air flow is changed from step 1 to 4 according to time originally set up by rhythm cleaning mode before the dust and odor sensor detect pollution in the area. The function never lets the air polluted.

    Anti-bacterial catalysis filter
    The causes of odor are double-screened by Anti-bacterial catalysis filter & AC deodorization filter. By having Anti-bacterial catalysis filter to catch the causes of odor before they reach the AC deodorization filter, deodorization ability of unit is increased.

    Anti-bacterial Catalysus improves effectiveness of deodorization and extends AC filter life time.

    Sensor sensibility control function
    The Coway customer customizes dust & odor sensibility according to their desire to clean the air.

    Additional function for Plasma
    The Coway customer selects turning on or off the plasma function according to their desire to save energy. Furthermore, the plasma sign on LCD goes out automatically if the unit detects the problem of its functionality.

    Zero Ozone emission
    Coway air purifiers don't generate any harmful by-product such as ozone.

    Children Safety system
    When the front cover is open, the device stops operation automatically.

    Easy & economic filter replacement
    Filters of AP-1008 can be very easily changed without any equipment, because front cover is attached to its body by magnet. Coway suggests replacement filter value package at least 25% off from its individual regular price. In short, lower annual maintenance cost, cost efficiency is another advantage.
